Our newest national lottery game is - LOTTO MAX™.  It replaces Super 7 after 15 years.  LOTTO MAX will launch this September – and for the first time ever with a Canadian lottery, additional prizes of $1 million will be drawn once the jackpot reaches $50  million. LOTTO MAX tickets go on sale September 19, 2009 with the first draw to be held Friday, September 25, 2009 and following draws held every Friday night.

LOTTO MAX is unique - offering larger Jackpots and $1 Million prizes.  Once the Jackpot hits $50 Million, LOTTO MAX kicks into MAXMILLIONS™ mode: the main Jackpot remains at $50 Million, but you'll also have the chance to win MAXMILLIONS prizes; each a single prize of $1 Million and each with its own individual draw! 
Here are the game details:

• Draws will be held on Friday nights, starting with the first draw on September 25
• Players will receive three chances to win (seven numbers each) for $5 play
• Play by selection slip or Quick Pick
• Jackpots start at $10 Million and are expected quickly to grow all the way up to $50 Million
• When the Jackpot reaches $50 Million, LOTTO MAX goes into MAXMILLIONS mode
• In MAXMILLIONS mode, the main Jackpot remains at $50 Million, with further growth creating MAXMILLIONS prizes, each worth $1 Million
• Each MAXMILLIONS prize will feature its own individual draw without subsidiary prizes
• In order to win the jackpot, players must match 7/7 numbers (from one to 49)
• Odds of winning a jackpot are one in 28.6 million per play
• Odds of winning any prize are one in 6.6 per play
• If a jackpot is not won it will “roll” to the next draw date, with MAXMILLIONS jackpots created after the $50 million mark is reached
